Business Background
Jerry Miller was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri and graduated from Central High School in 1974. Jerry attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business with a Finance emphasis in 1978.
Jerry worked for several oil and gas companies in Lake Charles, Louisiana and Houston, Texas for 3 years and then moved to Kansas City, Missouri to work for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line for 6 years.
In April 1988, Jerry moved to Waco, Texas to begin a career in the automobile business as a Finance Director at Waco Mazda Subaru. Jerry advanced through numerous positions at Waco Mazda Subaru, including Sales Consultant, Asst. Sales Manager, Sales Manager, and Buyer. The company expanded with Isuzu, Kia and Suzuki franchises during that time. In 1992, Jerry became a partner in Waco Auto Imports (previously Waco Mazda Subaru) with Rogers Wilson and Gary Leverenz.
In January 1993, Rogers Wilson and Jerry Miller purchased Harding Lincoln Mercury Jeep in Temple, Texas. Jerry Miller became the Vice-President and General Manager of the dealership from January 1993 until October 2004. During this time the dealership grew and added the Chrysler franchise
In October 2004, Jerry Miller purchased Gary Leverenz’s stock in Waco Auto Imports in Waco, Texas and became the Vice-President and General Manager of Waco Auto Imports. The name of the dealership was changed to Miller Mazda Kia Suzuki and Jerry Miller currently serves as the President and General Manager of Miller Mazda Kia Suzuki.
In August 2007, Jerry Miller purchased Rogers Wilson’s remaining stock in Miller Lincoln Mercury and renamed the company Miller Lincoln Mercury Chrysler Jeep.
Jerry Miller is currently the sole owner and President of Miller Lincoln Mercury Chrysler Jeep.Jerry Miller is married to Tracy Wilson Miller of Austin, Texas and they have two children, Hannah and Lucas.
